The Apple Pan is a lively diner dishing up classic American fare from burgers to pies from its tiny counter since 1947. From April 11, 1947 to early February 2019, the Apple Pan was owned and operated by founders Ellen and Alan Baker then their daughter, Martha Gamble, and finally her daughter Sunny Sherman, before being sold to Irving Azoff and his wife Shelli. The Apple Pan is notable for being the inspiration behind the Johnny Rockets restaurant chain.
