The Sefton Park Halloween Lantern festival

On the 31st October, (Halloween), Liverpool's glorious Sefton park is venue for the cities children to parade their home-made Halloween lanterns. Circus performers on stilts. The brass bands. Taking on an almost enchanting and mystical air, the parade, reflected on the park's many beautiful water cradles, draws to its climax, where at a volley of rainbows stream, scream, into the cold night sky. The fireworks make for a fitting end to a night which will be sure to continue at the homes that surround it. The Toffee Apples, Ghost stories, and night lights left to burn until day.
