Cool things for kids to do
- The Yellow Submarine, an indoor play area on Brunswick dock with good coffee (not for the kids)
- The new playground in Sefton Park, which has probably the most dangerous climbing frame in the world
- The new bandstand island in Sefton Park, pretend to be the Las or Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts club band.
- The Hello Kitty shop in Goth and Emo land (New Quiggins) on Renshaw Street
- The free ride on trains in Calderstones on Sunday afternoons from 2-4 (near the Riding School)
- The Beat Goes On in the Liverpool World Museum (if it is still on) plus the Aquarium is really good
- Swimming and Gym Tots at Steble Street in Dingle and watch out for Olympic stars 'Beth Tweedle'
- The Kids Club film at FACT at 11:00am every Saturday.
- Splatterdays and Splatterplays Saturdays at Unity Theatre
- Spaceworld Soft Play Centre in Prescot.

- Kimo's cafe on Mount Pleasant
- Greenbank Sports Centre cafe but watch out for bears in the woods.
