  • Pangle's Construction- (Meadow Fork, outside of Hot Springs) 828-380-9892 .  Ken Pangle has heavy equipment and operates a sawmill.
  • DT Ramsey- (between Marshall and Hot Springs). Facebook 828-656-2754. Open 8am to 5pm Mon through Fri. 8am to noon on Saturday. Tim, Sherry, and Mindy. They have the best selection of pressure treated lumber, rough sawn lumber, ¾ plywood, and  ½” plywood. They have other miscellaneous wood products and  mulch. They also keep a small selection of  roof metal in stock, and can order roof metal packages. Prices are cheaper than Lowes on most stuff. Ramseys will deliver materials  anywhere in the county.

Marshall Area

Mars Hill Area

  • Mars Hill Hardware (Mars Hill)- Facebook 828-689-2818. They have lumber, concrete, fasteners, plumbing, etc (just about everything). Talk to Jerry; he has worked with volunteers before. They will deliver materials to the job site.
