I am the great great grandson of Gottlieb Andreas Schuetze (1817-1871) who was a pioneer in Blumberg (Hahndorf).

Gottlieb Andreas Schuetze built the Australian Arms Hotel then transferred his licence across the road to the Union Inn, later the Hahndorf Inn. Then, in 1866 he was the licencee for the Napoleon Bonaparte Hotel, later Blumberg Hotel until his death in 1871

His son, Carl Frtiedrich Scuetze held the lince for the Miners Arms Hotel in Palmer in 1871.

Another son, my great grandfather, Gottlienb Wilhelm Schuetze held the licence for the Bogan Hotel in Mannum in 1877.
