I live in Neville's Cross, Durham City, I work at Durham University researching Durham mining villages.
I was born in Cambridge, brought up in the Netherlands and have lived in Durham since 1995. My dad's family is from North Yorkshire, one of his grandmothers was from Durham City. She was a Weatherall, they had a shop on Allergate (corner of Neville Street) in the 1900s.
