The Coral Castle, formerly Rock Gate Park, is a sculpture garden built of coral rock in the 1940s by a single man, Ed Leedskalnin, without the use of any heavy equipment or machinery. Legend has it that Leedskalnin built the garden under cover of night, and to date no one knows exactly how he accomplished the feat. Coral Castle is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
