Founded in April of 2008, http://FIUSM.com is one of three student run mediums operated by the FIU Student Media department at Florida International University. The other two include FIU’s student newspaper, The Beacon, and Radiate FM.

FIUSM.com serves as the online home of The Beacon and Radiate FM, while producing content in the form of exclusive stories and videos. The work showcased on the website is produced by the Student Media team and covers multiple aspects of Florida International University: News, Sports, Campus Life and Opinion.
