Describe this Route
The 3 - Bloor is not as bumpy a ride as the 26 - Burnhamthorpe, though it takes longer since it winds its way through Mississauga Valleys. If you're going to Islington station or Square One for a smoother and possibly more pleasant trip take the 3 - Bloor. This route runs through a lot of residential neighbourhoods, lots of trees to see which is great to see the fall colours. It runs by several shopping plazas such as Iona plaza, Fieldgate Plaza, ...
Major Intersections
Neighbourhoods this route goes through: City Centre, Mississauga Valleys, Applewood Hills, Fieldgate, Etobicoke Centre
History
This is Mississauga's third local bus route, after Dundas and Hurontario. Originally, the Sunday routing made a diversion to the west along Confederation Parkway to make up for the lack of Sunday service there, but the diversion was kept long after Sunday service on Confederation started, until January 2012.
