History

This route was created to serve the early Shipp developments near the QEW. Until 2005/2006, the route used Glengarry Road to get from the Huron Park Recreation Centre to Westdale Mall. This part of the route was cancelled because of complaints about noise. Buses now double back onto Paisley Boulevard and use Mavis Road and Dundas Street to reach Westdale. This re-routing lengthened travel times by around five minutes.
