The Great Divide... does it exist?

Where you live in the city will be determined by whether you first lived east or west of Huronatio street. The idea here is that once you live east or west of Mississauga's main street or dividing line then you'll tend to live on that side. You may move where you live however you'll still stay on your side, just because...

It may be your work is close by or all the places you know and love just happen to be in a certain in the area. Which just happend to be the first place you lived in Mississauga... or can it be something else?

It could be you're just used to looking at a map in a certain orientation. Ask yourself this, if you lived on the other side of Hurontario would you feel weird about it?

We'd like to know if this idea is an Urban Legend or is there something to it?
