Location Tomken Twin Arena - Rink One

Details On Sept 30, 2011, Mayor Hazel McCallion and members of council officially dedicated rink one in Tomken Twin Arena to Paul Henderson - Canada's famous hockey player who scored the winning goal in the first Canada-Russian hockey serious in 1972.

Paul followed his 1962 Memorial Cup win with a distinguished 18 year hockey career in the NHL and the World Hockey Assoc, notably for the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Atalanta Flames.

As an author, motivational speaker and community volunteer, he continues to contribute to the health and future of children and youth, the city is honoured that he makes his home in Mississauga.
