Frank and Stella make everything by hand, but the best part is that the deliver! Frank makes us broccoli soup and will custom-make most everything. Venture to the Filipino side of the menu, too. (I don't ever order from the steam table at lunch, so can't tell you its quality.)

Straits Cafe
Singaporean Cuisine. Located on El Camino by Fry's in Palo Alto. A little on the pricey side, but really good and they have great drinks too! My favorite is the Funky Monkey (a chocolate blended drink with banana). Also, try the roti prata, an indian bread with a delicious dipping sauce. (Oct 2008)
Sushi
Fuki Sushi
* on El Camino, North of Charleston on El Camino. For us this is the best around but not so cheap. http://www.fukisushi.com/ (Oct 2008)
Sushi Tei
* http://www.sushi-tei.net/ I have heard the place Sushi Tei just on the other side of Castro next to Peet's is the best around. (Oct 2008)
* We love Sushi Tei located next to Peet's on Castro/El Camino - it is pretty reasonable as well. They have good size portions too! And I've been going there since '97! (Nov 2010)
Sushi Tomi
* http://www.sushitomi.com/ In downtown MV. The best anywhere, as far as I'm concerned. Not cheap and often crowded, but totally worth it. (Oct 2008)
Momoya Sushi
* A really good place is called SUSHI in the Safeway complex on Shoreline. They are nice, personal, reasonably priced and very good. They were picked by the chefs to supply sushi to Google. (Oct 2008)
* I went to Momoya next to the safeway on Shoreline. Was very good. (Oct 2008)
Miyaki
* Try Myaki in Palo Alto or Cupertino (Oct 2008)
