If you're a member the AAA will do it in your driveway, and the price is more than fair.
Yes price is about the same as in store and installing yourself. Without the hassle of buying, paying recycling fee, install, return to store for recycling and get fee back.

I've been happy with CostCo automotive (Interstate brand IIRC) batteries ... but don't know if they will replace the battery for you or what they charge for that service.
