Colorful Stitches

Russ Knab is a talented custom embroiderer, who embroiders words or designs on clothes, hats, bags, or any fabric. He embroidered the name of my partner's boat on a soft shell jacket last week and will be doing the same on hats and visors next week. He does a great job and has very reasonable prices. He can get the clothing for you, or you can buy it elsewhere and bring it to him. He has a full-on commercial embroidery machine that connects to his computer. He creates the design on the computer (and can email you proofs, which is really helpful) and then sends the design to the machine that does the embroidery. It's all in a small room in his house in Mountain View.
