Mohr Watches
A negative recommendation for Mohr Watches on El Camino, just south of San Antonio.
Don't go here if you want friendly, reliable, courteous place to get a watch battery changed. I visited here to get a new battery and was told that there was no one there to do that. (In spite of the sign in the window.) I was told to come back between midday and 4. I came at 3 and the guy still wasn't there. The owner then suggested it was my fault for coming at the wrong time. Never again, for me at least! Nick on Benjamin
Same here, bought a timepiece from Mohr clocks, all of a sudden it stopped working within a month of purchase, changing batteries didn't seem to help.
The owner didn't want to spend much time on it. She even said that the timepiece could not have been sold from there(huhh!!) Unfortunately , we didn't have the receipt.

We took an old clock in to have repaired, they did a nice job but I think I could have replaced the clock for what they charged me.

The dude at Rite-Aid, Grant/El Camino
That guy rocks. Little shop located in entryway of Rite-Aid. I think he's there 5-6 days a week, hours are generally business hours. Quick, efficient, and affordable.
The name of the watch repair place is M & S Watch Repair. It is located as you walk into the Rite Aid on Grant Road.
He charged $8.00 total, battery, labor and tax to replace the battery in my wife's watch.
Hours of Operation:

This is now M&S Watch Gallery, a separate shop on the El Camino end of the shopping center. The Rite Aid no longer exists. Battery replacement costs $10 in 2016.
