Synopsis
The Del Oro theater is the oldest theater in Grass Valley. First built in 1940, this theater has three screens with the largest in a room adorned with Art Deco murals on the wall. It has an iconic spiral on top renovated in 2004. It is also home to the Classic Movie Series and Midnight Movies. Midnight Movies range from cult classics like Rocky Horror, Sixteen Candles, and Fight Club to newer releases like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. Midnight movies are the thing for kids to do in town on Saturday Nights.
