is a reservoir located just north of
Truckee. It is a 45-minute drive from
Reno, a 1.25-hour drive northeast of
Nevada City, a 2-hour drive from
Sacramento or
Yuba City, or a 2.75-hour drive from
Chico. It is in the Truckee Ranger District of
Tahoe National Forest. Its elevation is 5,715 feet.
