Rowayton

Bell Island (also Further Island, Noroton Island, Raymond's Island) is the historic name of land at the southeast end of Rowayton. It was named after Harmon H. Bell who purchased the land from Harvey and Mary Pennoyer in 1852. 1. The southeast point of the area was called the Fishing Rocks as early as 1754.
