A’s Spirit Week – From Monday, March 31 through Monday, April 7, A’s Spirit Week will galvanize the Oakland community and show support of the Oakland A’s. The A’s play their home opener on March 31 against the Cleveland Indians at O.co Coliseum. Everyone plays an important role ensuring Spirit Week’s success.
AC Transit bus headers will read “Go A’s”
The Oakland International Airport will swap out the curbside lights with green & gold bulbs
Oakland City Hall, the historic Tribune Tower, hotels and other landmark buildings will be adorned with A’s flags
Hotel staff, from doormen to front desk staff, will wear A’s caps
Colorful “A’s Cheer Cards” will be distributed by the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and street ambassadors from the Lake Merritt/Uptown Association and Downtown Oakland Association for display in merchant windows
Local restaurants will be offering specials for patrons wearing A’s gear.
