AK Press is the major publisher of anarchist writing, and it is based in Oakland. Publisher and distributor of radical and independent books, pamphlets, magazines, CDs, tapes, t-shirts, stickers and other merchandise.
While the location is mainly a warehouse and office, you can call ahead to visit and browse titles available or order books. AK Press also hosts events and the annual Anarchist Book Fair in different spaces across the Bay Area, including the Bay Area Public School, and the Crucible.
This organization is a part of the Network of Bay Area Worker Cooperatives (NoBAWC).
