Acta Non Verba: Youth Urban Farm Project is a community farm in Tassafaronga Park in the Woodland neighborhood. Here is their website: http://www.anvfarm.org/.

Acta Non Verba also partners with the Oakland Public Library. Last summer, every Thursday from 3-4pm at the Main Library's Children's room they ran a program called "Growing Readers." A grant from the Library Services and Technology grant helped create a program to introduce kids to urban farming and container gardening.
