AirBART was the shuttle bus service between the Oakland Coliseum BART station and Oakland Airport until it was obsoleted by the expensive and controversial Oakland Airport Connector. A ride on AirBART cost $3 for adults, $1 for children; exact fare required. The trip took 10 to 15 minutes each direction, and left about every 10 minutes from 6am to midnight.

The service began in 1977 after approval by the Port of Oakland Commission. They did not, however, approve the nickname "Amelia AirBART" for the service.
