Alameda County government is administered by a five-member board of supervisors. Each supervisor represents a district in the county. Oakland is covered by districts 4 and 5. Districts 1, 4, & 5 are on 2012-2016 election terms, while Districts 2 & 3 are on 2014-2018 election terms.
