Ana Belle Apartments (or Annabelle Apartments or Ana-Bell Apartments) is a medium-sized apartment building at 544 - 37th Street, just off Telegraph. The building was completed in 1928 for owners Mr. and Mrs. C. Friedman.
The building was constructed with 16 apartments of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms by The Art Builders of Berkeley. Each apartment featured 'every convenience' including Spark Stoves, electric refrigeration, steam heat, and Rip Van Winkle wall beds. The lighting fixtures were from Maxwell Hardware. 1,2
