Anarchists are one of the eight groups of people in Oakland. They believe in non-hierarchical principles of self-organization and tend to be at odds with the powers that be. Nobody can in principle fully agree about what "anarchism" even means because that would defeat the point. Aside from a dislike of centralized power structures, anarchists run the full spectrum of other political and philosophical beliefs.
