Beauty's Bagel Shop carries Montreal-style bagels and bagel accessories: toppings, coffee and free wifi. They serve breakfast and lunch. There is often a line and the store is frequently packed with hipsters. The prices are higher than your average chain bagel place, but the bagels are much better, too. Owned by Blake Joffe and Amy Remse.
There is a mural on the side of the store.
Awaken's bagels come from here by bicycle every morning in a barter arrangement.
Beauty's Bagels was the recipient of the East Bay Express Best Bagels Readers' Poll Award in 2014 and 2015. The editors also awarded Beauty's the Best Fried Chicken Sandwich.
