Robert Wasserman is a police consultant with the City of Oakland. In early 2013, the City awarded $250,000 to Wasserman's consulting firm, Strategic Policy Partnership, LLC, to conduct short-term and long-term crime reduction studies in partnership with police consultant Bill Bratton.
As part of the contract, Strategic Policy Partnership is undertaking a number of community town halls on crime reduction in March and April of 2013. The full schedule can be found in this announcement from the city (PDF).
