Cherese Henderson (March 30, 1969 – December 11, 1998) was beloved employee at the Safeway on Claremont and College. She died unexpectedly from a blood clot, and was remembered with a memorial marker under a tree in the parking lot. When the Safeway was rebuilt, the marker was moved to a walkway.
