Children's Memorial Statue

The Children's Memorial Statue is a monument remembering children who have died in Alameda County from violence since the 1990s.

The statue was dedicated April 22, 2016, but not without some controversy. Some people feel it is too morbid, but others say it is important to keep the information in the open, in order to help combat the problem. ¹
