District 3 historically centers between Lake Merritt, Uptown, Downtown, Chinatown, West Oakland and adjacent neighborhoods. Please see current (2022) District boundaries here. Carrol Fife is the current City Councilmember, elected 2020. Lynette McElhaney was the previous councilmember for this district, from 2012-2020.
