Joseph Thomas “Coke” Escovedo (April 30, 1941 – July 13, 1986) was a percussionist from the renowned Oakland family of musicians, the Escovedos. Coke was the brother of Pete and Alejandro, and the uncle of Sheila E.

While a member of Santana, Escovedo co-authored the hit No One To Depend On from the 1971 album Santana III. Unfortunately, there appears to be no video footage of Santana performing the song with Coke Escovedo before the latter’s death in 1986.
