Courtland Creek Park

Courtland Creek was once a tributary to the larger Lyon Creek, but like many small local bodies of water, it was diverted after the Oakland Coliseum was built in 1966.
Like many local creeks, these days it runs mostly underground in culverts. Courtland Creek Park is one of the few places where significant portions of the creek remain above ground.
