Defremery pool is located near Defremery Recreation Center and serves the West Oakland community with fun, safe, educational and recreational programs. The pool use includes a variety of classes including swim lessons for pre-school, youth and adults, swim team, water exercise, recreational swim and so much more.
Like others in Oakland, this pool is clean, friendly, and pretty long for a public pool at 35m. Keep in mind that there are no lockers; you need to leave your bag on the poolside. Also, the lane markers have faded from the walls.
Hours: Opens June 17th, Saturdays and Sundays 12-4.
Cost: Lap swim costs $6 for adults and $4 for senior citizens.
