Dennis Evanosky
photo from Our OaklandDennis Evanosky is a historian and author of the really fabulous book East Bay Then and Now. as well as Oakland's Laurel District and Mountain View Cemetery. He occasionally leads history walking tours for the Oakland Heritage Alliance, Oakland Urban Paths, and at Mountain View Cemetery. Dennis and fellow historian Eric Kos were instrumental in restoring and researching the civil war plot at Mountain View. They are also publishers of the Alameda Sun, one of the newspapers for the city of Alameda.
