Dorothy DeBolt Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk, Oakland, California
 
Adoption crusader Dorothy DeBolt passed away on February 24, 2013 at the age of 89.  To honor her memory there will be a  public memorial held as part of the first Dorothy DeBolt Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk on July 7, 2013 in Oakland, California to benefit AASK.

Bay Area families will be there to soak up the sun, get a little exercise and meet members of the DeBolt family.

All proceeds will support AASK’s mission to connect foster youth with permanent adoptive families. The entire DeBolt family will also join us to honor and remember our visionary founder, Dorothy DeBolt.

AASK is an adoption agency that focuses on children with special needs, sibling sets and older children. AASK welcomes all families looking to foster or adopt regardless of race, sexual orientation, marriage status, or income.
