What, no entry for Epic Beard Man (or “-Guy”, aka EBM) on a supposedly Oakland-centric wiki?
I can’t believe it – somebody call Amber Lamps!
The tale itself may be rather shameful and embarrassing but, from the larger perspective of Oakland, its history, and the worldviews/motivations of its occupants (in turn influencing their behavior), it turns out to neatly encapsulate many characteristics of, and truths about, Oakland – though exactly which ones may be better left as an exercise for oaklandwiki readers.
