Fitchburg Well Field pumping station (1894) 1
The first pumping station at the Fitchburg Well Field in what is now East Oakland, brought online in 1893 by the Alameda Water Company, later acquired by the Contra Costa Water Company of Anthony Chabot. The field now serves as the site of the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
