Friday Nights Live are weekly events held every Friday night between July 19th and August 23rd. The event will feature games for all ages, music, free food, arts & crafts, dancing and giveaways. Friday Nights Live is organized by the City of Oakland, County of Alameda, Councilmember Lynette Gibson McElhaney, the YMCA and many other community organizations and leaders. The goal of the program is to build community and prevent violence by offering a safe, enriching space for youth and families to utilize on Friday nights.
