Great Distress Under the Heavens is a mural is on the side of the building which home to Nomadic Press at 2926 Foothill Blvd. It was painted in December 2014 by Jordan Weber. The top reads "Adventures into the unknown." There is a plaque on the side that says "This mural is a symbol of supreme empowerment for Oakland. It is the fruit of a community united! As long as we remain empowered as one, we will be the progress and change that this world thirsts, swarms, and gasps for!"
