Describe Growing up in Oakland here - My first remembrances come at the age of two when my parents were building our first Oakland home on the top hillside lot of Broadway Terrace, where Broadway Terrace and Skyline Blvd meet.  The year was 1950.  My father was an architect and at that time was also building his first house too, with my mothers help.  During the war years my mother had worked at Moore Dry Docks as a draftsman after having graduated from CCAC in Oakland.  Their supplies would arrive each Friday for the weekend of work via truck from a local lumber company.
