Holiday in Oakland is a song by Oakland musician and poet Lisa B. (Lisa Bernstein). It was released in 2011, but got a lot of attention in December, 2013, when a music video featuring pictures of Oakland was released. It was co-written by Jim Gardiner and recorded at his studio in Jack London Square.
The song is a serious love-fest about Oakland, mentioning Oakland musicians and locales in practically every line.
