Jesse Edward Wysinger (April 1, 1865 – November 29, 1933) was an editor of the Western Outlook newspaper, and one of the sons of pioneer Edmond Wysinger.

Wysinger was born April 1, 1865 in Merced Couty to Edmond Wysinger and Penecia Wilson (Wysinger).

He lived in Oakland at 6501 Raymond Street. He married May E. Jackson (Wysinger), and they had three children: Bessie C. WysingerGladys Gwendolyn Wysinger, and Jesse Neeley Wysinger. After May died, he married Lena Mallary (Wysinger), who took over writing Activities Among Negroes after Delilah Beasley died.

Wysinger worked as a laborer, a janitor, a porter (basically a 'go-fer') at a printing shop, before becoming co-editor of Western Outlook on October 22, 1921.
