Joe Leonard Morgan (born September 19, 1943) is a retired MLB player who grew up in Oakland. He played for the Oakland Athletics and the San Francisco Giants at the end of his career, but is best known for his time with the Cincinnati Reds, where his teammates included Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Tony Pérez, Dave Concepción, and Ken Griffey.

Morgan was born in Texas, but grew up in Oakland. He graduated from Castlemont High School (1961).

Morgan career had many highlights, including NL MVP in 1975 and 1976, World Series in 1975 and 1976, 5x Gold Glove winner, and 10x MLB All-Star.
