Kassenhoff Growers is an amazing woman-owned tomato mini-farm that recently moved from Alameda to Oakland. They sell their plants every week at the Lakeshore Farmer's Market and the Temescal Farmer's market- hopefully starting March 22nd, 2014.
If you're a new gardener or an advanced one, Kassenhoff and their farmer's market staff are really amazing: they give great advice and sell wonderful plants. They'll give you handouts or you can read growing tips here. They sell a growing calendar for $3.50.
