Keyshia Cole, Oakland born singer-songwriter, actress, and producer. She grew up in East Oakland. Her first album, The Way It Is came out in 2005. She has since released four more albums, the most recent in 2012. In 2006 she starred in the reality show Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is then in 2012 in Keyshia & Daniel: Family First, both on BET. She has won multiple awards, and collaborated with many top musicians [including MC Hammer, Tupac Shakur, D'Wayne Wiggins, Kanye West]. Indicators show her stellar career to keep growing and her artistry to continue developing.
