2015 is a Budget Year. Mayor Schaaf is running a survey to get public feedback.
"As I work with the City Administrator to propose Oakland’s next two-year budget and then the Council works to approve the final budget, we need to make some difficult choices. Your participation in this brief survey will help me make the best choices for our city. These options are real proposals that we are currently considering. I hope this survey will also help you become more informed about your city’s finances and how we should be spending your hard-earned tax dollars! I will be issuing my proposed budget on April 30th, but there will still be lots of time to influence the final budget decisions that your City Council will make on June 30th.
