Melrose Leadership Academy is a dual-immersion (Spanish/English) elementary school in Maxwell Park. Kindergarten through 2nd grade is at the Sherman campus, 5328 Brann Street, while 3rd grade through 8th grade is at the Maxwell campus, 4730 Fleming Avenue.
Early in the morning on July 22nd, 2013, 128 laptops and computers were stolen. The computers were worth over $40,000.
