Mi Ranchito is a little latino grocery store and carniceria on Foothill and 34th.
There's an outside area under an awning with giant boxes of oranges, apples, beans, onions, and other bulk fruits and vegetables. Inside there is more fresh produce, a meat counter, flour, oil, tortillas, and packaged goods. You can get tofu here inside next to the mushrooms. There are also really amazing Salvadorean pickled vegetables here. As is common for grocery stores in Fruitvale, this one has fresh masa.
The clerks speak Spanish, Arabic, and English fluently, and seamlessly juggle languages.
