The National Guard Armory at 674 - 23rd St. opened in 1922. 1 Today it is the Armory Lofts. The location was most famously the home of AK Press, an anarchist press; a deadly fire in 2015 led to AK Press moving. 2
It was a Naval Reserve Armory from at least 1940 to 1947.
In 1967, it was listed as Pike Services Warehouse.
